Excitement as Iman College students complete Holy Quran with outstanding WAEC results

The valedictory service and Walimatul Quran ceremony of Iman Comprehensive College, Amuwo Odofin took a memorable turn this year. it is the school tradition that college students complete the learning of the Holy Quran before graduating from school

Speaking during the school’s 15th Valedictory Service/Prize Giving and Walimatul Quran Ceremony, the school management Board Chairman, Alhaji Ishola Lemomu, said the school is known for its comprehensive education and academic excellence. 

“Today marks both an end and a new beginning for our graduands, a time for our esteemed parents to honour their children’s accomplishments and begin planning as they embark on their next journey in their life.” He noted that the teachers’ support has been a key element in the success recorded as students pass with flying colours in the school’s external exams. 

“On behalf of the students and parents, I want to say thank you. You are all hard-working, dedicated and compassionate teachers. The 2024 performance of the JSS3 students in the recently released NECO BECE results was unprecedented in the anal of the school. One of the students, Halidu Mubarak had ‘As’ in all the 12 subjects taken in the examination. Equally, the just-released SS3 WASSCE results show that 100 percent of the students got five credits including English language and Mathematics. We pray that the same performance will be exhibited in other results that are yet to be released.”

He emphasized the dedication of the college to achieve excellence.
