Lecture for pilgrims on hajj procedures holds on Sunday



The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has scheduled an inaugural lecture for 2019 Hajj intending pilgrims at the Old Secretariat Central Mosque GRA, Ikeja, on Sunday 14th April 2019.

The Board Secretary, Ishola Rahman said the intending pilgrims across the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas of the state have been invited to the lecture in order to acquaint them with the dos and don’ts of hajj and to enrich them with the required knowledge that will enable them to performed acceptable hajj.

Ishola declared that the lecture, which begins by 12 noon on the said date is compulsory for all Lagos State intending pilgrims.

He also disclosed that the lecture would provide the opportunity for the pilgrims to meet their coordinators and other travellers for the purpose of networking and chatting the way forward for the hajj exercise.

The Board Secretary stated further that intending pilgrims are advised to take the lecture serious, as informed scholars will be on ground to do Justice to the lecture of the day.

Meanwhile he appealed to intending pilgrims to complete their payments and submit their forms for processing, as Biometric capturing will begin soon.
