NASFAT celebrates exceptional performance of members
NASRUL-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has rewarded its executives for their selfless commitment towards the growth of the organisation.Speaking at the award presentation ceremony in Lagos tagged “Second Reward for Achievement and Performance (REAP) and Zonal Executives Council Time Out (ZEC)”, the Zonal Chairman NASFAT Lagos Zone II, Rafiu Bolaji Adegbola said the REAP and ZEC Time Out award is meant to reward efforts and show appreciation to members who stood firm for the growth of NASFAT during the tenures of his administration.
He said: “We shall also use the opportunity to bound, learn and proffer solutions to numerous challenges and share experience, both in religion and life matter.Bowing out from office, Adegbola commended the organizing committee for the feat achieved and urged them not to relent.
“As I am bowing out, I wish to put it on record that the achievements of the zone over the years were not achieved because of my own efforts, but because of your solid support for my administration. Am indeed grateful to you all and I will ask that same enthusiasm and support be extended to the incoming administration to ensure the continuous growth of our zone”.
The Zonal Secretary, Nob Lawal AbdulWaliyu, said the aim of award is to increase committee’s commitment and productivity and set healthy competition that would improve productivity and quality of work, that would increase turnover and performance.
He said continuous training would be organized to enhance the performance of executives at all levels in order to excel on their responsibilities.“We will continue to organize regular seminar, workshop and leadership training as at when due for executives at all levels where experts in different field will be invited for exchange of knowledge” he said.
He reiterated the importance of team building in running effective organisation and therefore urged NASFAT to invest in team building by encouraging collaboration to get results.
AbdulWaliyu noted that what make the Zone II to remain afloat as the best zone for four consecutive times include effectiveness, sufficiency, collaboration team building, team spirit and accountability.
He urged other executive to continue to give their best, not to relent in their effort and work as a team.“It is normal to experience challenges. No achievement is recorded for one entity, if not for collective responsibility of all members. We should continue to work as a team, everybody in a team is important” he said.
