School perform excellently in Cambridge exam

Towards achieving excellence as enjoined by Allah (SWT), the director of Penckers School, Sheikh Faisal Zuglool, has urged academic institutions in the country to create an environment where students can unleash their potential.

It will be recalled that Penckers School won the 2022 West African Quality and Excellence Awards and has again achieved another record-breaking excellent performance in the just released cambridge checkpoint examination.

This advice was given during the 2022 graduation ceremony of the school, featuring certificates of excellence awards and talk shows.

He said Penckers will always live up to its word by providing students with quality education propelled by Islamic values in a conducive environment.

“Excelling here and hereafter with belief that every child has God-given abilities latent in them which is the duty of every educational institution to help them unleash it in the best ways possible.

He added; “following this tradition of excellence, the school has been the recipient of several awards and commendations. “last year 2021, we won the first prize winner of the Lagos State Art Exhibition and in this year, we won the 2022 West African Quality and Excellence Awards.”

Zuglool urged all schools both locally and Internationally to embrace the unique and realistic mode of assessment which guarantees to unlock potentials and strengths.

“Tobi Amusan who just broke the world record of 12.12 in 100m World Athletics Competition and earned Nigeria international honour might not have been recognised and awarded in the school she attended because she had not excelled academically, this had been the trend over time where individuals marked down by the school system and declared unintelligent enough are being celebrated and honoured in actual life.”
Zuglool said the school recognises and awards excellence to all our students considering their differing areas of strength and competence.

He further acknowledged the support of Al Azhar University Egypt and the exceptional service delivered to Penkers school by, Sheik Bahahudeen Suleiman, Sheik AbdulFatah Muhammad Khalifah and Sheik Isham Suleiman on their three years tenure in the school and their return to Al Azhar University Egypt.

The chairman of the occasion, Prof. Raheemson, urged the children to be good ambassadors of Islam.
“Be a good ambassador of yourself, your family and the Muslim community at large.
