Tinubu at 71: Mama Diaspora, religious clerics hold special prayer

The United Nations Ambassador, Queen Mother, Aminat Temitope Ajayi, popularly called ‘Mama Diaspora’ has held a special prayer for the nation and thanksgiving to celebrate the 71st birthday of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The United Nations Ambassador, Queen Mother, Aminat Temitope Ajayi, popularly called ‘Mama Diaspora’ has held a special prayer for the nation and thanksgiving to celebrate the 71st birthday of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The Special prayer, which happened during the yearly Ramadan lecture and birthday thanksgiving were conducted by an international prayer group, Aseyori Islamic Foundation (AIF) in collaboration with the Nupe Community, Lagos State.

During the birthday special prayer, Mama Diaspora showered encomiums on the President-elect for his leadership skill and love for Nigeria.

She prayed for peace, progress and unity to reign in the country during Tinubu’s tenure.

“As a peace ambassador, I have been calling clerics to pray for peace to reign in the country and God Almighty answered my prayers by choosing Tinubu to be Nigeria’s next president.

She appealed to Nigerians to be steadfast in their prayers for the President-elect to succeed when he assumes office.

“I appealed to all Nigerians and political groups to accept in good faith the INEC result in the just concluded election. There must be an opposition and there must also be a winner. God Almighty has chosen a leader for us, let us all embrace him and support him. Nigeria is a blessed country,” she said.

She sought for continuous prayers for the nation and Tinubu to be surrounded by good people who have the interest of the country and the citizens at heart.

She appealed to him to accommodate the young adult into his administration. “ I urge those who have been in government for a long time, to set a foot back a little bit and let the new ones come in to utilise their potential. “Mr. President should please, give the young adults serious appointment so that they can use their intellectual property to develop the country.”

The Chief Imam of Kosofe , Sheikh Aminu Faki, thanked Almighty Allah for allowing Tinubu to emerge. “I give thanks and glory to God for choosing Tinubu as Nigeria’s next president. He is hardworking and transparent. I pray to Allah to c continue to guide him and give him good health and long life.”

The founder, Aseyori Islamic Foundation, Sheikh Miftaudeen Ayobami, said numerous times the host, had called on the group to beseech Allah on behalf of Tinubu to emerge as the winner of the 2023 general election. “We are here to celebrate the president-elect on his 71 birthday and we also come to thank Allah for his emergence as the winner. We give glory to God Almighty for accepting our supplications.

I pray during his tenure, Nigeria will be peaceful and the issue of kidnapping, insurgency, petrol and naira scarcity would be thing of the past.”
