The Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN) has called for nominations for its 2026 Annual Gala and Awards Night, scheduled to hold on Friday, November 20, 2026, in Lagos.
Themed “The Legacy Builders: Honouring Visionaries of Nigerian Healthcare,” the event will recognise individuals, organisations and institutions whose leadership, innovation, commitment and investment are contributing to the development and sustainability of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
In a statement, PSHAN said nominations are open to members of the public, healthcare professionals, organisations, industry stakeholders and other players across the healthcare ecosystem.
The awards will recognise outstanding contributions across five broad categories: Government, Media, Non-Profit Organisations, Individuals and the Private Sector, with a total of 25 sub-categories.
PSHAN said nominations will close on September 12, 2026, with submissions to be made through its awards platform.
It added that, after the nomination period, all nominees would undergo an independent, expert-led judging process aimed at ensuring a credible and rigorous assessment based on measurable contributions to healthcare.
The yearly gala and awards night is PSHAN’s flagship platform for recognising achievements, promoting visibility and fostering engagement among senior healthcare leaders, changemakers, partners and other stakeholders.
PSHAN is a non-profit organisation that mobilises private-sector resources, expertise and leadership to complement government efforts and support partners and implementers in improving health outcomes in Nigeria.
Through strategic partnerships and initiatives, including the Adopt-A-Healthcare-Facility Programme (ADHFP), the alliance seeks to strengthen the country’s healthcare system by promoting coordinated private-sector action and investment.
For media enquiries, PSHAN said interested persons could contact its communications team through [email protected].
