SPAR has launched a new outlet in Ikeja to meet its customers’ needs. Speaking at the launch, Deputy Managing Director, Spar Article, Prakesh Keswani, said the hypermarket was now closer to people within that axis and the availability of Nigerian made goods to promote the indeginous producers.

Prekesh said the outlet had liased with manufacturers to get quality and affordable goods. “Currently, our black Friday sales, which has up to 70 per cent discount, is on and will last till November 30. We guarantee products from this outlet to be 100 per cent original for customers to get value for their money,” he said.

Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Aremu Akiolu, at the launch said the goods are majorly made in Nigeria and would help boost the economy.

Oba Rilwan advised the outlet managers to increase their workers’ welfare and embark on community development projects.

Chairman, Spar, Asiwaju Solomon Kayode, explained that Nigerian made goods makes about 65 per cent of the entire store. The event which was accompanied by a tour revealed the various sections in the store ranging from perishable to non-perishable goods.
