ICOBA elects new executives

Members of Igbobi College Old Boys’ Association (ICOBA) have elected Mr. Olufemi Olubanwo as their new President. He emerged at the 2023 Annual General Meeting and election of the association held at the Angus memorial hall of the school.
   
In his acceptance speech, Olubanwo thanked members for the confidence reposed in him and promised to continue with the programmes of his predecessor. 
   
He added that his administration would raise funds to address the challenges confronting their alma mater and restore its lost glory, by 
ensuring that the students have better facilities, more curriculum options, and assist in extra-curricular development. 
  
Other newly elected members inaugurated by the Chairman, Board of Trustees of ICOBA, Mr. Bode Thorpe, include Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, who was returned as the first vice president; Chief Olatokunbo Ajasin as the second vice president, Mr. Gbenga Olatunbosun as Secretary, and Olusegun Adeyemi as first assistant secretary.
   
Mr. Jamiu Aderibigbe, Wasiu Adebayo, Nathaniel Adeyemi, and Kayode Coker were returned as second assistant secretary, treasurer, financial secretary, and assistant financial secretary, respectively.
  
Other newly elected executives are Olatunji Akinwunmi as social secretary, Gbenga Mafoitan as assistant social secretary, Olufemi Bankole as publicity secretary, and Adeleke Ademiju as assistant publicity secretary. Mr. Seni Adio (SAN), Wasiu Sedun, and Mike Aideloje were 80s, 90s, and 2000 decade representatives respectively.
