The Women in Marketing and Communications Awards (WIMCA) 2025 is set to interrogate elevating professionalism and excellence among women in the industry to the next level.
Themed, “Bloom, boom, zoom: The pursuit of excellence,” the convener of WIMCA and publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi, said, “this year’s WIMCA is special because we are connecting the dots from a blooming career of a professional woman to the explosive stage, when she is set to zoom to the next level. No woman in the industry should miss this year’s conference.”
Speaking further, he added the award would bring together influential women in the industry, providing a unique opportunity for networking, learning, and growth. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops focused on addressing the challenges faced by women in the industry and providing practical solutions.’
To him, the platform would also recognise and celebrate outstanding women in marketing and communications, honouring their achievements and contributions to the industry.
Ajayi added WIMCA is a full-day event that includes exhibitions, presentations, panel discussions, awards, and other initiatives that make the event robust, engaging, educational, exciting, and memorable for all participants.
The event is the largest gathering of female marketing and communications professionals in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, attracting over 700 participants annually.
WIMCA is organised by Brand Communicator, a leading brand and marketing publication in West Africa. The 2025 edition holds on October 18, 2025 at Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.
