Since joining the Department of Biochemistry at Osun State University in 2021, Adebisi has dedicated his work to exploring the intricate relationship between oxidative stress and disease. Through his research, Adebisi is investigating various natural and synthetic antioxidants that may offer therapeutic benefits in slowing down or even preventing the onset of diseases caused by oxidative stress.

Through this role, he actively participated in outreach programs across Southwest Nigeria, helping to provide free cancer screening services and educate communities on early detection and prevention strategies.

As an academic, Adebisi is also deeply committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of scientists.

At Osun State University, he has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate students, providing them with a solid foundation in biochemistry and encouraging them to pursue research that addresses pressing global health challenges.
