Our partnership with Publicis is about value, not money, says Shobanjo
The Chairman of Troyka Holdings, Biodun Shobanjo has said that the equity partnership between Publicis Group and Troyka is about value and not money. He however would not mention the monetary value of the 25 per cent equity acquired by the Publicis Group.
He said that the partnership also came because over the years its client’s needs are evolving and requiring more extensive and acute range of skills, knowledge and global best practices.
With the partnership, Shobanjo said that his company is the first Nigerian marketing communications group to have foreign equity partnership. He further said that it means they are partner owners of Trokya.
He further said that the negotiation started about three years and that they are extremely excited about the added value that its clients will derive as a result of the new development just as it look forward to deploying the full suite of Publicis Groupe tools and proprietary processes for the benefit of its clients’ brand by way of even more creative, effective, integrated marketing communication and public relations solutions.
