Like the under-dogs, without any chance of wining a medal, Penckers International School, Isolo stunned organisers and scores of audience at the National (Blueprint) Spelling Bee Competition emerging the champions at the event.

The prestigious Islamic school carted away the first position in three categories- Grades 3, 4, 6 yet withholding the second position in Grade 4 beating notable and favorite schools at the competition.

This year National (Blueprint) Spelling Bee Competition was powered by School Kit held in Lagos recently.

The school also won the Most Eloquent Speller Award coming tops among others in the competition.
The Proprietor of the school, Alhaji Faisal Zuglool, a seasoned Educationist and Islamic scholar, said: “We are determined to provide first class education laced with Islamic values. We are poised than ever before to produce icons of change that will significantly contribute to the world’s transformation. This will ultimately correct the erroneous perception that Islamic schools are only good in Arabic or Islamic education.“

We use the best of global educational demands, equipping our children with desirable qualities that will make them to fit into the ever-changing 21st century.

He added that upon completion of the basic education, pupils in Peckers would have memorised half of the Holy Quran.
