Managing Director, Ruzu Herbal Products, Dr. Robert Onyemaechi Uzu, has expressed optimism that his company would make Nigeria proud as United States of American Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) plans to inspect the company’s factory from June 20 through 22.

Uzu, who recently spoke with pressmen, said his company has delivered ultimate breakthrough in the history of herbal medicine in Nigeria.

He said, “Last year at our 10th anniversary, we promised to come up with new products and strategies to further better the lives of the people.”

He said his team of experienced and focused professionals, who possess exemplary passion for research and innovation, would prove it worthy, especially in the state-of-the-art machines for processing all drugs produced under hygienic conditions.

With sole objective to create a healthy society through the use of herbal medicine and to empower its staff and distributors, Ruzu seeks to become the largest producer of herbal products in Africa.

While speaking further on the strides his company has made, Uzu stated, “We made a breakthrough in managing prostate cancer and kidney stone naturally.

We are already collaborating with the Federal College of Alternate Medicine (FEDCAM) for proper research and documentation.

I was privileged to meet with the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, and I can assure you of the Federal Government’s interest in promoting herbal medicine in Nigeria.

He said the company recently adopted a strategy of rewarding outstanding distributors, saying, “Last month, the first winner of a car reward valued at N2.5 million emerged. It is fundamentally a success story despite the harsh economy”

The car reward, according to Uzu, would be presented on June 28.
