Summit to discuss impact of digital disruption on brand comm


Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) experts are to gather in Lagos to discuss, ‘Digital disruption and the future of brands and marketing communications’ in Nigeria at the BRANDCOMFEST conference, which holds between May 23rd and 24th 2019 at the Muson Centre, Onikan.

According to the convener/ publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi, the essence of organising BRANDCOMFEST is to serve as a way of linking the future.

Some of the topics, experts will deliberate on, include, the future of experiential marketing in a technologically driven world, the future of out of home advertising in the face of digital disruption, sustainability and effective brand building for the future and digital disruption and the future of public relations practice.


Ajayi said, “The event will serve as a rallying point for integrated marketing communications practitioners to chart a new course for the industry since there is no platform of convergence for stakeholders in the IMC value chain to foster co-creation and address each of the challenges of the sub sectors, hence, BRANDCOMFEST was conceived to bridge this gap.”

Professionals from media independent organisations, advertising industry and brand management will also discuss issues of media investments, evolving trends, challenges & opportunities to agency business: sustainable agency models in the face of disruption, and brands and agencies’ success stories.
