Fets to headline LFDW 2016

Award winning mobile money platform, fets, has announced its partnership with the 2016 Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW). fets will serve as the primary payment processing partner for the multiday fashion event in Lagos.
The company also unveiled a consumer promo to reward its new customers with mouth-watering prizes including a brand new top of the range smartphones including an iPhone 7 and Samsung S7, as well as e-value cash prizes.
As part of the partnership arrangement, fets will, among other things, provide the platform for all payment transactions, including its core fetswallet operations. It will also aid in the disbursement of funds as wages to tailors or grassroots retail, as well as provide loan repayment channels.
Speaking on the partnership, fets Managing Director, Mrs. Omotade Odunowo said: “The fashion industry in Nigeria has its own economy (fashionconomics) with a list of players in the value chain. From the fabric sellers to the pattern cutters, tailors, detailed designers, distributors and so on. On the promo, Odunowo said: “To qualify for, all one needs to do is visit the fets’ booth at the LFDW betwee October 26-29 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, and sign up to fetswallet for the raffle draw to win.”
The first prize winner will go home with a brand new iPhone 7 while the second prize winner will get a Samsung S7. The third prize winner will be rewarded with a N10,000 e-value cash.
