FG opens portal for youths to access 2000 CNG tricycles
Following the launch of the 2000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tricycles, the Ministry of Youth Development has designed a portal to create opportunities for youths to benefit from the initiative.
The Minister of State for Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, who unveiled the portal on Monday in Abuja, explained that through the portal, youth anywhere from across Nigeria can sign up to be merged with aggregators or owners who work directly with the PiCNG programme while beginning the process of becoming
owners themselves.
Olawande noted that the initiative was consistent with the aspiration of President Bola Tinubu’s desire that all government programmes and initiatives of government offer the same level of opportunity to everyone.

“The youth portal we are launching today again reconfirms that promise of ensuring equal access to all our initiatives and programmes,” Olawande said.
The Minister called on youths to enlist for the benefits provided through the Presidential Initiative on CNG as a significant component of the palliative programme of Tinubu.
