Alex Iwobi releases video for new music
Did you ever picture Alex Iwobi, Fulham’s midfield dynamo, in the spotlight as a musician?
Well, here he is, not just on the football pitch but now also in the studio.
Iwobi, widely celebrated for his skills on the field, has unveiled his latest music video for his single, What’s Luv?, showing us a side of him that tackles love and life from a different angle.
In What’s Luv?, Iwobi teams up with spoken word poet and rapper Emmanuel SPKS and singer MBrown.

Together, they explore the complex emotions surrounding love and life, showcasing Iwobi’s lyrical side in a fresh and thoughtful manner.
In his Instagram post sharing a snippet of the video, Iwobi captioned it, “What’s Luv? VIDEO OUT NOW! Link In My Bio – Watch, Stream, Share, VIBE!”
Just recently in July, the former Arsenal man debuted in the music world with his first single Don’t Shoot.
The track was produced alongside fellow footballers Chuba Akpom and Medy Elito, making it clear that Iwobi has been crafting his musical journey with genuine intent.

Speaking to Standard Sport, Iwobi explained that while football remains his top focus, music offers him a unique outlet.
“Music is a way of just expressing yourself,” he said. “It’s about letting yourself be, taking on a different role for a moment.”
In Don’t Shoot, Iwobi addresses youth across Nigeria and beyond, encouraging them to chase their dreams instead of falling into the traps of crime and violence.
