English football legend David Beckham ‘speaks’ nine different languages in a new video for malaria awareness.

The now retired sportsman, can be seen speaking Yoruba, French, Arabic and Spanish as well as Hindi with the help of the latest AI video synthesis technology to highlight the universal dangers of the disease in the world’s first voice petition.
The one minute video shows Beckham sitting at a table as he tells viewers: “Malaria isn’t just any disease. It’s the deadliest disease that’s ever been.

He is then given the voices of men and women from around the world to show that it is a general problem and could affect anyone regardless of age, religion, nationality or gender.

The Malaria Must Die, So Millions can Live campaign is calling on people to speak up in a bid to demand action to help eradicate the disease.

Beckham worked closely with Dr Elvis Eze, who can be heard speaking Yoruba in the video. He said: “Dr Elvis Eze, who was with us on set, has suffered with malaria many times and, as a doctor, he has seen how dangerous this disease can be.
