Nigerian singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has announced three concerts at the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, from December 17 to 19.

Davido unveiled Oriadè: The Residency in an Instagram post on Friday, September 18. The concerts will mark 15 years since his rise to prominence in 2011.

“LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” he wrote.

The announcement video shows Davido performing before large audiences, alongside footage of Lagos and the National Theatre. He has yet to announce ticket prices, sale dates or the line-up for the three nights.

The residency gives Davido a chance to perform in the city where he grew up and built his early career. His breakout song, “Dami Duro”, brought him national attention in 2011.

He followed it with songs including “Aye”, “If” and “Fall”, building an audience outside Nigeria as Afrobeats reached more listeners worldwide.

His recent albums include Timeless and 5ive. In July 2026, he released Oriadè, the album that shares its name with the residency. In an interview about the project, Davido spoke about returning to his African musical roots after years of performing for audiences around the world.

His second Lagos concert, on December 18, will fall on the opening night of Detty December Fest, which Wizkid is scheduled to headline.

The festival’s organisers, Livespot360, announced Wizkid’s appearance in August. They said the 2026 edition would run from December 18 to 30, with 13 days of music, culture and other activities across two stages.

Wizkid’s opening concert is scheduled for 6 pm at the Detty December Village in Lagos. The two singers have announced separate events, so people hoping to see both will need to consider Davido’s December 17 or 19 show.

Ticket information available when Guardian Life reported Wizkid’s announcement in August listed general access at ₦50,000 and Golden Circle at ₦150,000. VIP standing was priced at ₦300,000, while tables were available through the festival’s concierge.

According to the organisers, general access includes entry to performances, food courts and the marketplace. Golden Circle places ticket holders closer to the stage, while VIP standing provides a dedicated area near the bars but does not include seating. Those August prices should be checked again before publication, as ticket availability and rates may have changed.

Davido has not said whether the three nights will feature different performances.
