Emem Olaosun set to release debut EP ‘Love & Gratitude’
Nigerian-born and America-based RnB artiste, professionally known as Emem Olaosun, is set to release her debut EP titled Love and Gratitude on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Emem who recently stirred attention with her hit songs I Believe and Amanam, brought a blend of praise and worship into the spotlight.
In her music videos, directed by the skilled Jonathan Melgas, Emem’s vision and artistry unfold, merging stunning visuals with messages of hope and joy.
I Believe shines as a song of encouragement, urging listeners to reach for greatness, while Amanam, an expression of gratitude in Emem’s Ibibio language, celebrates life’s blessings with scenes and energetic performances.
The debut EP, Love and Gratitude, is crafted with an Afrocentric jazz influence, showcasing a fusion of West and Central African sounds that resonates far beyond Nigeria.
The project not only reflects Emem’s cultural roots but also her dedication to delivering spirit-lifting melodies that touch the heart and soul.
Emem describes the EP as a journey through love, faith, motivation, and gratitude.
She expressed her appreciation, saying, “First and foremost, I thank God for the grace that brought this project to life. My deepest gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to the creation of this EP. To my amazing husband, loving family, dedicated team, and dear friends, thank you for your unwavering support. This project wouldn’t have been possible without each of you standing by me. I dedicate this music to my family, friends, and all those who have supported me along the way. Your love and encouragement have been my greatest inspiration. To my incredible fans, thank you for being a vital part of this journey.”
Emem also honours the memory of Francis Sampson Udonsah, a figure of inspiration for her, and acknowledged her executive producer, Amos Olaosun, saying, “A heartfelt thank you to my executive producer, Amos Olaosun, for your tireless efforts in bringing this vision to life.”
The Love and Gratitude EP brings a collection of five tracks, all co-produced by Emem herself alongside Mekoyo. With live performances recorded at Stages Music Art in Baltimore, Maryland, and final mastering at Bass Clef Studios, each track showcases Emem’s musical finesse, from her Afro-Gospel influence to her passion-fuelled storytelling.
