
Ibadullah Islamic School has echoed the need to prioritise and invest in Islamic education, noting that individuals who are well-versed in Islamic teachings possess the skills and values necessary to contribute meaningfully to society.

The School Director, Sheikh Sulaiman Yusuf Adewuyi, said this at the celebration of the 50 years anniversary of the Islamic school held in Lagos with the title ‘50 years of Impact at Nigeria’s Leading Islamic School’.
Adewuyi emphasised the school’s commitment to nurturing future leaders through the knowledge of Islamic education. “The institution recognises the importance of producing graduates who not only excel in their religious studies but are also poised for success in the broader professional landscape.”
He revealed that at least, hundreds of Ibdallah alumni have been offered scholarships overseas in various disciplines. “In southwest Nigeria, Ibadullah Islamic School continues to be a beacon of hope, illuminating the path to a future where faith and excellence go hand in hand. From memorising the Holy Quran, learning the rudiments of Arabic language to comprehending the intricacies of Islamic jurisprudence, students at Ibadullah Islamic School are equipped with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of modern life while staying rooted in their religious identity,” he said.
In her remarks, an alumnus, Dr. Mardiyyah Abiodun, thanked the school for shaping not only her religious beliefs but also her professional trajectory.
Reflecting, Dr. Abiodun who doubles as the Managing Director of Darus-Salaam Hospital, Lagos, said, “The Madrasah has also instilled in me a sense of discipline, dedication, and a strong work ethic. The rigorous academic environment, the emphasis on memorisation and understanding, and the constant pursuit of knowledge have shaped my approach to learning and professional development. These qualities have been invaluable in my career, allowing me to excel as a Medical practitioner and continuously seek growth and improvement.”
