As award-winning Nollywood Actress Kiki Omeili, turns a year older today, she makes her debut as a producer with the release of ‘Unprotected‘.

Unprotected is a short film written and produced by Kiki Omeili and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare. Unprotected tells the story of a philandering husband and the consequences he leaces his family to bear. As exxagerated as the events may seem, the film is actually based on true events Kiki herself witnessed when she was still a medical student.

Starring in the film are Kiki Omeili, Eric Didie, Bimbo Ademoye, Blessing Ambrose and Nathan Kingsley.

I think my favorite thing about the film is the fact that it’s a narrative and not one that requires a lot of unnecessary dialogue. You can still feel how strong the emotions are by following the visuals and listening to the gentle narration. This is a pretty strong production debut for the doctor-turned-actress and we’re excited to see what other projects she will be churning out both off and on screen.
