Lisabi, a movie by Lateef Adedimeji has won the Best Indigenous Language, West Africa at the 12th edition of Africa Magic Movie Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) with Lisabi.

Receiving award, Adedimeji, said: “Thank you AMVCA, this is to that woman that will always tell me, go do it, you can do it, Adebimpe. The woman that just gave me my kings.”
To Kill A Monkey won the Best Editing, the second award for the night.
My Father’s Shadow also beat To Kill A Monkey to win Best Score/Music.
Orire Nwani and Josh Olaoluwa won the Best Short movie with Hussaini.
