Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has been praised by skit maker Kamo State for her support during his wife’s pregnancy and childbirth.

On Monday, Kamo State took to social media to shower Akindele with gratitude, describing her as “an angel in human form” who stood by his family throughout the journey.

According to Kamo, Akindele went as far as securing one of Lagos’s best doctors for his wife and personally covered all medical bills.

He added that when Akindele found out about the pregnancy late, she even offered to fly his wife to the US for the delivery.

In his post, Kamo recalled, “I’ll never forget the nights you spent by my side at the hospital, your presence, a soothing balm… You secured one of the best doctors in Lagos for my wife and took care of every single bill.”

Kamo also shared that Akindele was ready to postpone a planned Dubai trip to ensure he stayed by his wife’s side, and she checked in on them daily.

He wrote, “You called my wife every single day just to check on her… You told your driver and security to follow us to the hospital even if we called at midnight.”

The skit maker, who announced his baby’s christening will hold on Tuesday, added that Akindele has sponsored the entire naming ceremony, from food to the couple’s outfits.

Kamo ended his post with a prayer for Akindele, thanking her for showing him the true meaning of family.
