A new trailer for the 2018 sci-fi thriller Annihilation drops yesterday.

The movie stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny, and Oscar Isaac. Based on a best-seller book of the same title by Jeff VanderMeer, the movie is directed by Alex Garand who also directed the sci-fi thriller Ex Machina.

The trailer shows an expedition into in a strange other-worldly place by Natalie Portman and her team after her husband– played by Oscar Isaac– came back ill from a mission to the same place.
