The premiere of the Nollywood film Lara and the Beat held on July 8 at Intercontinental Hotel. As promised it was a night of colour and high fashion as famous Nollywood actors were in attendance, not leaving out musicians and influencers.

Lara and the Beat is a film about the Giwa sisters who lost their wealth through a scandal that ruined their father’s media empire. Through music and enterprise, they must learn to salvage their family name.
