Nigeria’s goalkeeper and hero at the AFCON, against South Africa, Stanley Nwabali has received accolades from all angles of the country including celebrities for his performance en route to the final.
Nigerian celebrities, filled with joy, shared their excitement of shot stopper after yesterday’s showdown.

Nigeria’s victory takes them to the final against host country Cote D’ Ivoire for the second time in the tournament, after its victory in the group stage against them.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has promised to reward the team for this incredible achievement, in the tournament.
Vice President Kashim Shettima told the players and their officials in the dressing room, following their hard-fought victory over South Africa in the semi-finals on Wednesday, that the government and people of Nigeria are proud of their accomplishment.
The VP was in company with Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Minister for Youth, Dr. Jamila Ibrahim as well as Oil mogul Wale Tinubu, FIFA Council Member Amaju Pinnick and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau
The AFCON final is scheduled for Sunday, February 11.
