Peanut Noodle: Delicious Way To Spice Up Your Noodles
There is this saying that goes: If you can boil water, then you can make noodles. Although many people have associated noodles with a lazy man’s food, maybe it is because of the lack of spice given to it, however, consider adding peanut butter to spice it up.
A hearty scoop of peanut butter in your noodles can save you a lot from anti-noodle critics. This recipe is fast and entirely satisfying and delicious. You can prepare it in 15 minutes or less.
Ingredients
Noodles
Garlic (minced)
Chili flakes to taste
Ginger (minced or grated)
Peanut butter
Black soy sauce
Light soy sauce
Sesame oil
Lime juice (optional)
Rice vinegar
Shredded carrot
Shredded red cabbage
Green beans
Red chili flakes or sesame seeds
Preparation
In a blender, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water and blend until smooth.
In a large bowl, add the carrots, cabbage, and green beans and pour over the peanut sauce.
Cook your noodles according to package instructions.
Drain and toss your noodles inside the sauce.
Use tongs to mix well, until sauce is fully incorporated inside the noodles and removed from heat.
Combine and serve with a sprinkle of red chili flakes or sesame seeds if desired.
