Angry reactions from social media have continued to trail Nigerian comedian Victor Ebiye for colour-shaming Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyongo’o.
The internet comedian posted on his Instagram a picture with his face smeared in a black substance and the caption:
“After giving lupita head”.
This immediately sparked a flurry of angry reactions from Nigerians.

In 2018, Ebiye was dragged on social media after he insinuated that Nigerian singer Aramide had slept around for an award.
The controversial comedian later apologised:
“I made a distasteful joke about @aramidemusic last night at the headies. I am embarrassed by my comments and I am profusely sorry. Aramide is a hardworking artist who deserves every recognition she gets by merit. I sincerely apologize and pledge that such will not repeat itself again. I pledge to control my words in the future as things said and written cannot be taken back.”
