Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” Tops the Billboard Hot 100
Collins Obinna Chibueze, better known as Shaboozey, has officially cemented his place in music history as his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Featured on his chart-topping album Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going, this anthem has become a global favourite for its cheeky lyrics, infectious beat, and ultimate party vibe.
Shaboozey isn’t new to making waves. His discography includes fan-favourites like “Jeff Gordon”, his first viral hit that helped launch his career. The song is described as sulking and is a genre-blending mix of pop culture references and authentic storytelling. There is also “Spaghetti,” a song featuring Beyoncé and Linda Martell.

The track “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, earned him a People’s Choice Country Awards for New Artist Song of 2024. The song is also nominated at the MTV VMAs and Country Music Association Awards (CMAA) for Song of Summer and Single of the Year respectively.
