Evangelist Tonto Dikeh has shared the foundational steps of her journey toward faith and closeness with God.
The former actress made a call to very special set of people she described as those currently feeling a persistent tug from the Holy Spirit.
She said, “I’d love to talk to a very special set of people, and those are the people that have been having a conviction in their heart and have been having the Holy Spirit tug on them. One thing I have always been asked is, “How did your journey start? How did you give your life to Christ? How did you become this close with God?”
“Well, the truth is that it started with salvation. It started with personally accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal savior. It started with killing the old Tonto and becoming the new Tonto. It started with dying in Christ and beginning to live with Him.”
“Today is an opportunity that if you know if you know strongly in your heart you have this conviction that has been tugging on you you come to God. And if you’re ready, today is that day we take you to God. So, you close your eyes and raise up your hands”
