Ace Nollywood director and filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has announced the demise of his mother, Omoladun Afolayan, who was aged 81.

The film producer shared the sad news on his Instagram page on Saturday, posting cherished memories with his late mother, including photos of her with her grandchildren.

The film producer took to Instagram on Saturday, where he posted heartfelt photos of her accompanied by her grandchildren, reflecting the love and joy she brought to their lives.

It reads: “It is hard to accept, but she surely lived a good life👼 Our mother, Maami Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, has gone to rest. (1943-2024).
