Nollywood actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, has confessed to a brief sexual encounter with Dara, the wife of comedian and skit maker Ganiyu Morufu, also known as Ijoba Lande.

This admission came during a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTok users on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
Previously, Baba Tee had denied the allegations, challenging Lande to provide evidence or face legal action for defamation.

Lande had accused over 20 entertainers, including Baba Tee, of involvement with his wife, which led to their separation in January 2025.

In the recent interview, Baba Tee recounted that during a visit to his home, a ‘Truth or Dare’ game led to the encounter with Dara.

He claimed he was unaware of her marital status at the time, as she was introduced as a content creator by actress Marygold.

Reflecting on the incident, Baba Tee expressed regret, stating, it happened, we had it ,I will not deny that, It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality.”

Following the revelation, Esabod advised Baba Tee to apologize to Ijoba Lande for the betrayal and earlier denial.
Subsequently, Baba Tee issued a public apology on his official Facebook page, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande… I fear women.”

Marygold, the embattled manager of Ijoba Lande, was alleged to have orchestrated the encounter between Baba Tee and Dara.

She admitted introducing Dara to Baba Tee but claimed the subsequent events were unplanned.

Marygold stated, “I accept that I made a mistake by taking her to Baba Tee’s house without Lande’s knowledge, but I never planned for them to have sex.”
