Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has chosen to steer clear of online drama, opting instead to share a family photo featuring himself and his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke.

The 32-year-old singer on Friday, January 3, 2025 shared a serene moment with family members dressed in coordinated light blue attire.

The photo included Davido’s father and other family members, showcasing their bond and elegance.

Meanwhile, back home, a heated war of words erupted on social media between celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, and Afrobeats superstar Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy.

The feud began on Friday when Burna Boy shared a cryptic Instagram post, referring to Cubana Chief Priest as the “Owerri Rick Ross” and accusing him of questionable activities.

Burna wrote, “No forget say u be Azaman o And dem don gbe your plug wey him name na ‘Omo Igbo’ for ATL and na u be next #OwerriRickyrozay.” Many interpreted this as a jab aimed at the socialite due to his close friendship with Davido.

Not one to back down, Cubana Chief Priest fired back, alleging that Burna Boy was bitter and ridiculing him for his past struggles and achievements. “Diddy oil the fastest way to PTSD. you never see anything, you and your bend down collect Grammy,” he posted, alongside videos of Burna Boy performing at one of his events back in 2018.

Cubana Chief Priest claimed he paid Burna Boy ₦1 million to perform as a backup artist at his birthday party, insinuating that Burna’s rise to stardom was recent compared to his own wealth. He added, “We don dey chop this money before you meet us for queue. Be humble, small boy.”

The drama escalated with Cubana Chief Priest accusing Burna Boy of owing for jewellery purchases and mocking his Grammy win, while Burna fired back, denying the allegations and asserting his financial independence. “Everybody in Lagos knows my style. All my stuff is paid for, sometimes cash sef,” Burna retorted.

Fans have since taken to social media, debating and picking sides as the feud continues to dominate online conversations.
