Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said he spent $3.7m in cash on his white wedding to Chioma Rowland.

The singer made the remark while preparing for the ceremony in Miami, United States.

In a video that has since gone viral, Davido is heard saying: “I spent $3.7m cash, so we should know what we are doing here.”

The Miami celebration follows the couple’s traditional wedding, which took place in Lagos in June 2024 and was attended by prominent figures from politics, entertainment and business.

Davido and Chioma had arrived in Miami ahead of the event for a pre-wedding party, where they were seen in coordinated outfits and greeted by friends and family.

The 32-year-old Grammy nominee is known for his elaborate lifestyle and high-profile celebrations, often attracting global media attention.
