Canadian rapper and music icon, Aubrey Drake Graham, popularly known as Drake, has been declared the “biggest rapper of the 21st century” by Billboard.
This announcement was made in Billboard’s latest ranking of the top 10 biggest rappers of the century, which was released recently.
The list features some of the most influential names in hip-hop, with Drake sitting confidently at the top.
Known for hits like Hotline Bling and God’s Plan, the 37-year-old rapper has dominated the charts for over a decade with his unique blend of rap and R&B.

With multiple Grammy Awards and record-breaking achievements under his belt, it’s no surprise that Drake emerged as the leader of the pack.
Interestingly, Nicki Minaj, often called the “Queen of Rap,” was the only woman to secure a spot on the list, coming in at ninth place. Meanwhile, Drake’s long-time rival, Kendrick Lamar, found himself in eighth place, sparking debates among fans.
In the second position was legendary rapper Eminem, whose lyrical genius and influence in the industry remain unmatched.
Kanye West, or Ye as he is now called, followed closely in third place. The fourth spot went to Nelly, whose early 2000s hits still resonate, while Jay-Z, often regarded as one of the greatest rappers alive, rounded off the top five.
