TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has broken his silence after a viral video of his livestream sparked concerns among fans in Lagos.

On Monday, the 20-year-old took to his Instagram page to apologise to supporters and critics, asking for forgiveness over his past behaviour.

His post read, “If u know I have offended u before please forgive me, l promise to be on my best behavior this time any of u that put me in mind please forgive me l promise to makes things right this time, God bless u all I don’t mean most things I do online am more than a good boy in real life.”

The apology comes days after a disturbing TikTok livestream on Wednesday night showed Peller in a heated exchange with unidentified men before his screen went dark.

The clip, which quickly went viral, left many of his followers worried about his safety.

The Lagos State Police Command later confirmed that the content creator was safe. The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, told Channels Television that Peller was at home and unharmed.

“We are investigating the allegation, but we can confirm that the person in question, Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, is at home safe and sound. His vehicle is also intact, all his phones and properties, nothing was missing,” Hundeyin said.

He explained that the incident was still under review to determine whether it was a prank, staged event, or a misunderstanding.

Peller, who rose to fame in 2023 through his short-form videos and livestreams, has become known for his dramatic online style.
