Ilebaye win Big Brother Season 8
After 72 days of intense competition in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality television show Season 8 tagged ‘Big Brother Naija All Star’, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya has emerged as the winner of the show.
The Nigerian criminologist, reality TV star, entrepreneur, and fashion model emerged after gruelling, compelling, suspenseful, enthralling and romance-filled 72 days in the Big Brother House. She also went home with a N120 million cash prize, among other mouthwatering prizes.
Out of 24 that walked the walk and talked the talk, the chips came down to six finalists after Angel, Venita and Soma were evicted.
Cross, Merce Eke, Adekunle, Pere, CeeC and Ilebaye were the finalists.
Ilebaye walked away with the prize money of N120 million.
The night started with Cross being evicted, followed by Pere and Cross, leaving Ceec, Mercy and Ilebaye in the top three, the first time in the history of Big Brother Naija where the top three are of the same gender (female).
30-year-old Cynthia Nwadiora, known as Ceec, was next to be evicted in the night, leaving Mercy Eke and Ilebaye as the top two.
Among the six finalists, Ilebaye was the only one who had never been a finalist before yesterday. She was the third housemate to be evicted from Season 7 of the reality TV show; she exited so early, she could barely make her name count with the lovers of the show.
Ilebaye was born in 2001 in Lokoja, Kogi State, and hails from the Igala tribe.
