Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has said that even though marriage can be scary, she is confident that her own story will be different.
The 24-year-old, who recently got married to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, made this known during a private gathering with family and friends, where she spoke about her belief in love and the strength of her marriage.
Speaking about her new journey, Priscilla emphasised that her marriage is built on friendship, which she believes will help them navigate any challenges ahead.
With certainty in her voice, she said, “I’m young, there’s a lot of distraction on this journey and it tells me to go with the flow. During the process, this was more than I expected. It is not about social media, me and my husband are about peace. There are a lot of scary things about marriage, but I see us as friends. My story will be different. This is a journey God has pointed out and no man can stop.”

In a separate video on Wednesday, Juma Jux, whose real name is Juma Mkambala, went the extra mile to reaffirm his love by proposing to Priscilla for the second time.
The Tanzanian singer shared a video of the moment on Instagram, showing how he blindfolded his wife and led her into a beautifully decorated proposal hall.
In the emotional clip, Priscilla, unaware of what was about to happen, was visibly stunned when Jux removed the blindfold and got down on one knee again.
This time, he asked her to be his wife in front of her family and closest friends, sealing the moment with a ring twice the size of the original.
Sharing his joy, Jux wrote, “Baby, I’m proposing to you a second time, but this time in front of your family and dearest friends, and with a ring twice the size. I love you with everything in me, and I can’t wait to spend forever with you, my love.”
The couple officially tied the knot on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Tanzania, Juma’s home country. Since then, their love story has continued to capture attention, with many admiring the grand gestures and deep bond they share.
