Why this tour is special
This tour follows the release of ‘Morayo’, Wizkid’s sixth studio album, which dropped in November 2024.
The album features collaborations with some of the biggest names in global music, including Afrobeats sensation Asake, French star Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and American R&B powerhouses Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.
Fans got a taste of the new album during Wizkid’s surprise performances at several concerts in Nigeria during the 2024 Detty December celebrations.
Now, he is ready to take the full experience on the road, marking his return to large-scale global performances.
Wizkid’s history of selling out arenas
For long-time fans, this tour is more than just another series of concerts—it’s a continuation of Wizkid’s legacy of shutting down major venues across the world.
The singer made history by selling out London’s O2 Arena three nights in a row, cementing his reputation as one of the biggest Nigerian artistes of his generation.
The ‘Morayo’ tour promises to be another milestone in the singer’s career, bringing his latest hits and classic anthems to a global audience.
Wizkid eyes another Grammy win
Beyond the tour, 2025 could be another big year for Big Wiz, as he sets his sights on bagging another Grammy Award.
He has been nominated in the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards, thanks to his contribution to Asake’s ‘MMS’. If he wins, it will be his second Grammy, further solidifying his place as one of Africa’s greatest musical exports.
As the countdown begins for the ‘Morayo’ tour, fans across Europe are already gearing up to witness Wizkid’s electrifying stage presence, proving once again why he remains a dominant force in global music.
