Recall that Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force had earlier arrested Speed Darlington in Owerri, the Imo State capital, over allegations of cyberstalking fellow musician Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy.

Before his arrest in Owerri, Speed Darlington had been detained in Lagos, transferred to Abuja, and placed under the custody of the Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team in the Guzape area of Abuja.

Amidst this, Cubana Chief Priest has also addressed claims that the man who recently received $30,000 from Burna Boy is his relative.

A video of Burna Boy gifting the money to a phone repairer went viral on Saturday, January 4, after content creator Lucky Uduh posted it online.

The recipient of the money had earlier claimed he was related to Cubana Chief Priest, alleging that he struggled despite his connection to the wealthy socialite.

This revelation fuelled speculations and added to the ongoing online feud between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest.

Responding to the claims, Cubana Chief Priest clarified that the man is not his biological brother.
He added that his only biological brother and two sisters are doing well for themselves.

Taking to his Instagram story, the 41-year-old mogul wrote: “Alleged brother! Skit makers f**kin oppressors. “Regardless, I owe them nothing, na my money, make everybody find their own.”
The viral video has sparked debates on social media about the responsibilities of public figures toward their family members and the role of online narratives in shaping public perception.
