About 15 stalwarts of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, at the weekend, defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with their supporters.
About 15 stalwarts of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, at the weekend, defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with their supporters.
Addressing over 1,000 party men at the state’s PDP secretariat, former deputy governor, Lazarus Yoriyo, said he was not impressed with happenings in APC.
Yoriyo, who was Danjuma Goje’s deputy, said he had seen it all in APC.
Until 2019, PDP remained the dominant party in Gombe before Governor Muhammadu Yahaya won election on APC platform.
The former deputy governor described PDP as a better political party, compared to APC in the state.
