A new political pressure group, known as Niger Rescue Movement Political Family has emerged in Niger State.

The leader of the movement, Hon.Mikail Bmitosahi who address journalists at the IBB Pen House,Minna,on Thursday 16th July 2026, revealed that the Niger Rescue Movement will not engage in politics of bitterness,saying it’s campaign will be about solutions for Niger State.

Mikail stressed that decision to form the movement was not made in haste,but,in the interest of the people of Niger State and Nigeria at large.

According to Bmitosahi,after wide consultations with our leaders, stakeholders,youth and women across the state,we the Niger Rescue Movement Political Family align with the African Democratic Congress ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections”.

Mikail,a former member Federal House of Representatives maintained that Niger Rescue Movement Political family believes in politics of ideas, inclusiveness,and service,assuring that ADC is a credible platform for new thinking,for internal democracy,and for giving Nigerians especially the youth a real voice in 2027.

On numerous challenges bedevilling the state, Bmitosahi observed that Nigerlites deserve security,jobs, quality education, quality health care delivery, portable drinking water,and good roads, pointing out that ADC platform will give the best opportunity to drive those agenda.

In his words”.As the person saddled with the responsibility of steering this course,I assure you,we will mobilize all structures of Niger Rescue Movement across the Twenty Five local government councils to work for ADC victory,we will take this message to every wards,every village,every polling unite”.He assured.

He however urged members of NRM, it’s supporters,and all well meaning citizens of the state to join the movement, stressing that 2027 is about the future of the children, and appealed to all and sundry to built together under ADC.

“We are home,we are ready and by the grace of God, Niger State will be better for it”.He promised.

From his part,a member of the movement,Hon.Mamman Musa,hinted that the movement spread across all the political parties in the state.

“In this movement,we,the members of our family knew those that may still be living in the rulling APC,but,they share our idea, adding that the purpose of the movement is to canvas for vote and number that can give victory to ADC in 2027,we did it in 2014,and we believe we are going to doing it again”.Musa vow.
