‘23 girls still missing, four years after Zaria massacre’

Families of the people that got missing on December 12, 2015 in Zaria, Kaduna State, are yet to be united with some of their relatives, with 23 girls still missing, almost four years after.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) lamented yesterday that the action carried out against Shi’a Muslims, mostly members of IMN, claimed the lives of over 1,000 civilians, with 705 missing.

Zainab Zakariyya, who spoke for the sub-sect, argued that the missing Zaria girls could be likened to the Chibok girls and that the issue should also be advocated for as with the other cases of missing boys and girls all over the country.
