30 students, one teacher of FGC Birnin Yauri regain freedom from abductors

Thirty additional students of Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri and a teacher abducted by bandits have regained freedom on Saturday.

The students, who have been captive since 2021 arrived in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State capital following their release, underwent medical screening and support yesterday while being reunited with their families.

Recall that on Thursday, October 21, 30 students of the same school were released and brought to Birnin Kebbi to be reunited with their families.

The latest was in addition to some who were earlier released to their parents.
