Abductors of former Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Sani Toro; former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, Garba Yila and one of their friends, Isa Jah are demanding N150 million for their release.

Toro and others reportedly left the wedding of the son of former NFF President, Aminu Maigari, in Abuja on Saturday at about 05:00 pm en route to Bauchi and were kidnapped at about 07:00 pm within Nasarawa State.

“It is true that he was driving with two of his friends when they were kidnapped on Saturday. The kidnappers are demanding N150 million as ransom before they are released. They are demanding ransom for N50 million for each of them,” a source said.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Bauchi, Ahmed Wakili, who confirmed the abduction of the victims, said he could not give full details of the incident, as it happened outside his state.

Wakili, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said: “The news is true. I got across to one of his sons, who told me that he was kidnapped around Akwanga road in Nasarawa while returning from Abuja.

“I don’t have many details, but I will communicate to you more details, as I get them.”
