Former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, Deji Aboderin, has clinched the Social Democratic Party (SDP) ticket for the Ibadan South-East/North-East House of Representatives seat. 

Aboderin emerged as the winner at a well-attended primary held at the open ground, near the Orita Aperin Police Station in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. 

Some of the national officials of the party and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as well as security agents were on the ground to coordinate the exercise.

The Publicity Secretary SDP, Michael Idowu, described the primary as credible, saying that the party ensured that the interests of all the aspirants were taken care of.
