Active Projectile, NTA2 partner to fight bullying in children
In a bid to fight bullying amongst young children in Lagos, a group, Active Projective, recently launched its anti-bullying campaign, in collaboration with NTA2.Starting this holiday, the group would engage children and teens positively at the premises of NTA2 on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos between August 14 and 25.
Head of the group and an anti-bullying advocate, Adesola Oyinloye-Ndu, said bullying is anti-social and has been attributed to low self-esteem among children, negative peer pressure, boredom and inability to express self, among other ills.
With facilitators from Career Anchor Consulting in Lekki, Chefs from Domino’s Pizza and ArtOfSunesis, Lekki, Oyinloye-Ndu said it would be an opportunity for the children to learn new skills, improve on good habits and interact with others.
