African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Chukwuka Monye, was in Minna, Niger State, yesterday, to met former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, and thank him for his pro-youth leadership stance.

Among several issues discussed, IBB emphasised the importance of the 2023 elections, maintaining that Nigeria requires youthful, competent and intentional leadership “to deliver the nation we desire.”

Monye appreciated the support he has received, highlighting the advisory role and wisdom of the older generation in shaping the country.

He has been consulting across the country with several national leaders over the last four months. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III; Obi of Onitsha, Nnaemeka Achebe and Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero are among the personalities Monye has visited, since his declaration earlier this year.
