Human rights lawyer, Ebun Olu-Adegboruwa, yesterday appealed to the police and Governor Nasir El-Rufai to direct the immediate release of Mr. Segun Onibiyo, a Kaduna-based activist detained for alleged Facebook post.

Onibiyo, an online personality and activist, was arrested by men of the Kaduna State Police Command, allegedly over his Facebook posts considered too critical of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Adegboruwa urged release of Onibiyo or his arraignment before a competent court of law for whatever offence he might have allegedly committed.
